When I approached him with questions on selling it in 2020 he was straight forward in telling me it was not the best financial decision. I am very glad I waited two more years. Throughout the entire process he went above and beyond. He always responded quickly, answered all questions, and walked me through the process. Jesse recently helped me purchase a home and I couldn't be more pleased with his services. My situation was not typical because I live out of state and was purchasing a second home. So I had to view houses remotely and have friends meet up with Jesse in person to facilitate walkthroughs etc. But even with those complications, Jesse helped make the purchase process go about as smoothly as possible. He even guided me in constructing my offer in such a way that ended up saving me several thousand dollars AND referred me to a local lender that was able to give me a better interest rate than the other banks I was working with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

He was timely in responses and answered my many questions, even those that I had already asked. He understood what I was looking for and gave many options to review and look at. Because of his vast experience, he was able to notice possible problems, such as ceiling water damage and roof problems. Once I found my home, he guided me through the process including the offer and then everything after that. Another thing that I really appreciated about Jesse was the information and contacts and referrals he was able to share with me, including handyman, painter, plumber, carpet cleaner and moving company. All of his referrals have resulted very positively. I love my home and I have Jesse to thank for that.

During this most recent phase, we came to Jesse and after much thought came to determine to sell our home in the winter. Typically, one would not sell in the winter just because of conditions outside and other variables that come with changing weather in Iowa. Jesse assured us that this was the right decision as the market for homes was still warm in the area. We trusted Jesse with his insight. Having little time off work he was able to book showings to match my schedule, even when it included late nights for him. He requested a list of houses I had saved on the realtor app, took the qualities I wanted and eliminated several houses on the list. Emailing me back, he told me why certain ones would not work and why others would, saving me time. He knows what to look for when buying a house. Such as cracks in the foundation, if they are in a flood zone, pipes, etc. He’s friendly but not pushy. I did not feel pressured from him once. He answered any questions I had, including ones I asked twice, without talking down to me. He was with me through the entire process. I can go on and on about how amazing and vital Jesse was to the process of buying a house. I will be recommending him to anyone in the future.

For a busy family such as ours, selling our home and purchasing a new one simultaneously was a scary step to take. Jesse made the process so much easier every step of the way - there were no questions to which he did not have an answer! From helping us prepare our home for sale, to helping us find a fairly priced home that fit all of our needs in a very demanding and competitive market he was there for us. We were incredibly impressed with his work ethic - he answers calls, texts, and emails promptly and happily day and night. It's clear he truly enjoys his work. Jesse's knowledge of the area and all of its surrounding communities was super impressive and definitely helped us to decide if and where to relocate and what was best for us in the long run. I couldn't be happier with his work, and I can't thank him enough for all the advice, guidance, and honest feedback that helped us. I am writing this to express my appreciation for all Jesse Skudler has done to help me with the purchase of my first home. I was currently renting a house from one of Jesse’s clients, so I have known and dealt with Jesse for almost 4 years. While renting Jesse always answered and returned all my phone calls and made sure to follow through with anything I asked of him. When it came time for the house I was living in to come up for sale, I realized how much I really loved my home and didn’t want to move. I have never been through the process of buying a home so I was extremely nervous and in fear to trust someone with such a huge decision. I have dealt and trusted Jesse for almost 4 years so I asked him to please help and guide me through this process. Jesse helped me through my entire process of buying my home which made things go so much smoother. We are writing to express our appreciation for all Jesse did to help us with the sale of our home. He was the third realtor to represent our house over the last year and a half. Like a lot of homeowners we had sentimental attachment and a hard time understanding why our house wouldn't sell. He had good suggestions on timing and helped us to be realistic. Having said that, he got us an offer on our home the first weekend it was listed with him for over our asking price. As anyone who has bought or sold a home knows, it isn't over after an offer has been made and accepted. He walked with us through an inspection and a lot of requests for repairs before closing. He encouraged us to take on some of these things while being firm about which ones weren't entirely necessary or reasonable in order to reach closing. He helped set us up with contractors for a couple of the jobs that needed to be done as well and used his experience and knowledge to make sure we were getting a good price from a good contractor. Truly above and beyond. We made it to closing and have now sold the home we had begun to thought would never sell. Jesse is truly a God-send!

This is a quick note to give kudos to Jesse Skudler for the assistance he provided on buying my current home. I won a VA case from the death of my husband, and so I was eligible for a VA loan. Jesse had been through lots of homes with me, and one day he texted me and said he found a house that I might like, and he was right. It was in the school district I needed for my grand kids, and the house was just the right size. Jesse said the house had just come on the market, and wanted me to see it. I went and viewed the house and put a bid on it that day and it was accepted. Jesse was patient, realistic, thoughtful and would show me the house anytime my family or I wanted to see it again. Jesse also provided information of a contractor that he had used before because I needed to get some things done around the house, and I was thankful for that being a widow with 2 grandchildren. The buying experience was the best and Jesse is very awesome to put up with me and my family. I am now settled into my new home, and will start to make memories here with my family. Thanks again Jesse for all the hard work, putting up with me and my family and with your personable style, and making this home buying experience easy.

This is just a quick note to give kudos to Jesse Skudler for the assistance he provided my mother (and me) in selling her home in Council Bluffs. My parents bought the little house in 1959 just months before I arrived mid-august. Mom and Dad spent over 50 years together there and Mom stayed another 4 years after my Dad's passing in 2012. Having bought and sold houses in Cleveland, Minneapolis and Seattle, I know there are great real estate agents and not-so-great (sometimes horrible) agents. Jesse is in the former camp, of course, and did a terrific job of working with my mother. He was patient, realistic, thoughtful and provided all the information she needed when she needed it...and No More than she needed. I did my best to assist with the process from 1,600 miles away and Jesse was always a Great partner. Thorough, creative, helpful and responsive. It made the process much easier and less stressful for ALL of us. We were pleased to sell Mom's house for full asking price after making the repairs that Jesse suggested. She is now settled in her lovely new apartment and another family has started making memories in the home. Thanks again to Jesse for all his hard work and his warm, personable style.
