Whether you’re buying or selling, you need a realtor who is on top of the trends and has the technical chops to get the job done right. When you talk to a realtor about marketing your home, make sure they include a discussion about online marketing and their social strategy. If people aren’t reading the newspaper, where are they spending their time? Chances are, they are surfing the internet. Websites, Facebook, Craig’s List, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Houzz, LinkedIn…your realtor needs to have a strong online presence, understand the trends and know where to find a captive audience.
