From the start I knew I made the right decision to enlist Mary as my realtor. She was friendly, easy to talk to and quick to respond to my endless questions. As a first time homebuyer, I especially appreciated how well she explained the process of purchasing a home. Her knowledge and years of experience were quite evident. When it came time to look at homes, Mary was flexible and committed my likes/dislikes to memory; she didn't waste time showing me homes I would not be interested in. Dear Mr. Dodge, I'm writing this not to tell you how much I have enjoyed working with your representative, Mary Egger, for the last three years. She recently sold a lot that I own in Fairacres for a very generous price. Before that she showed me several houses. When i decided not to relocate because of my blindness, she always was very understanding. In fact I have brought houses in the past but have never been this happy with a realtor. I consider her my friend. She combines so many excellent qualities in her work. She is patient and gracious in fulfilling my needs and the quality that means the most to me...very honest.

My wife, Valerie & I recently relocated to Omaha from Ames, Iowa. Our Realtor, out of Ames, referred us to NP Dodge and in turn, Mary Egger. Having not purchased a house in 18 years and not ever having been involved with a move to an entirely new area, this was all new to us and obviously stressful, at times. It required a Realtor who was knowledgeable of the area, that knew the legal changes to the purchase process, and could be empathetic towards and trusted by a couple who were dealing with the stresses & challenges of relocating. Thank goodness Mary was that person! Throughout the entire process, Mary patiently & skillfully guided us through each step, whether it was getting us paper curtains (I never knew such a thing existed) or helping arrange for a home inspector, to even providing us simple information of who each utility is and what day our garbage will be picked up. Mundane to detailed, Mary was on it and helping us each step. What I most appreciated was the day we arrived in Omaha to actually see the houses we had viewed and selected from your website, along with a few additional she had selected for us, she provided each of us (our 24 year old daughter joined us that day) detailed color information sheets for each property, that we could take notes on. This set the tone for a day that was very full, yet organized. She also patiently spent all day with us, driving us around, even going back and looking a second time on a few properties, in fact we started about 9AM and left about 8PM. A few weeks later, after we had an accepted offer, Mary even met us at the house to allow us to do another look and get some specific measurements. I should add, both of these were Nebraska game day Saturdays- and I know that is a big deal around here! Yet, she never complained, she was only focused solely on making sure our needs were met. As previously mentioned, this relocation was ground breaking for Valerie & me, so we don’t have any point of reference as to what people typically experience. That being said, I still can confidently say Mary did everything I could possibly think of to help make sure our experience went as smooth as possible-and it did. I would recommend Mary to anyone I know especially anyone who were strangers to this area and relocating. Thank you for putting us together and while my sincerest hope is I will not have a personal need for a Realtor anytime soon, I can say that should that need arise, I expect I would be calling NP Dodge and Mary, if she is still working.
