Tom was wonderful to work with. He took the pressure off of us and took care of everything. When he came to our house the first time, he had a professional portfolio of comps in our neighborhood and explained everything thoroughly. Once our house hit the market things moved fast. Tom has a great sense about people and is able to take out a lot of the home selling stress. He stepped in and took over scheduling our house showings when requests kept coming in, told us not to worry . Once the offers started coming in, he clearly explained which offers would be good for us based on things we would have never even thought of. Tom took the stress out of selling our house, any issues that came up during closing he also took care. We never felt unsure or stressed during this process, right away we felt confident in Tom and he didn't disappoint. Even though our new house wasn't bought through Tom, he still offered to help in anyway (finding contractors for us etc.). Truly is a genuine and caring man, who will get the job done.

Tom did a 5 star job. Our house was built in 2006 and has really had no updates, and it's been a rental to 5 couples over the last 12 years. Tom got us everything we wanted in house value and did it professionally. We didn't exactly make it easy on Tom, given the rough shape of the house, no property manager and us living in Minnesota. He replaced lightbulbs, got estimates on carpet/paint and scheduled and reviewed the work done by the workers. He set up the sprinklers to be turned on and inspected, he got someone to fix the front door, personally cleaned up surfaces before inspection, replaced carbon monoxide detectors, replaced well over a dozen light bulbs, and found and installed gutter extensions. I'm sure I left out some details, but you get the point. He went above and beyond the normal realtor function and saved me time and headache of trying to figure this out on my own living two states away. I'd recommend Tom to anyone selling or buying a home in this area.

I relocated for a job opportunity in Omaha in 2009. Tom Smith came highly recommended as my agent and he lived up to the recommendation. He took the time to understand my family's needs, what type of home, area and living environment that would make the family happy. He also took the time to familiarize us with Omaha, recreational areas (that applied to our interests) and helped us to get to know how to get around the city. Beyond all this Tom went above and beyond when it came to inspections and closing. As a matter of fact when we went to close on our now home, due to a misunderstanding in the closing paperwork we almost did not close that day and would have had to reset a time for both us and the sellers. Tom took the bull by the horns and we drove 2 hours to St. Joseph to meet my wife who drove up from Kansas City, found a notary public and closed on our house deal.. You can't ask for more.. R. My fiance and I requested to start looking at homes in a certain area and he was able to find us a handful of houses that met our criteria and within our price range in a short amount of time. Within a week we found a house we wanted to put an offer on. He worked odd hours (due to time zone differences with the current owners) to make sure that our offer / counter offers were communicated in a timely manner to get the deal done quick! He always had our needs in mind when adding inclusions into the offers and sat down with us with every counteroffer to walk us through what would and wouldn't be included (definitely helpful since we were both first time homebuyers!). We were able to walk away with the house of our dreams for us and our kids in a short amount of time and completely stress and hassle free! Thanks Tom!! I don't think I would of found another relator with the professionalism and personality to make you feel like you are his most important customer.

He would find a house and listen our likes and dislikes and use that to find another. He would set up visit after visit. When we found the house we wanted he helped set us up with a loan officer to purchase the home. He also provide a moving company that did a super job. He also help sell our previous home and set up showings. Our house was sold for a good price which enabled us to use the equity on our new house. Again we are realty satisfied with Tom Smith as a realtor.
