Westbrook

First-time home buyers and empty nesters are attracted to the Westbrook community with its smaller, affordable homes.  Most were constructed in the late 1940’s and the early 1950’s as part of the post World War II building boom in Omaha.  Many have been remodeled to showcase more modern finishes and amenities.  Finished basements and attics as well as garages have expanded living and storage space in many of the homes.

The community has an active neighborhood association.  The group’s motto is “To keep a clean, organized neighborhood and to help the elderly who call for help with problems they may have”.  It certainly reflects the community’s appearance and spirit.

With its proximity to school, churches, shopping and the Interstate, plus homes priced in the $100,000 plus or minus range, residences sell quickly in the area.
